This sexy, unapologetic film is the bastard child of 70s/80s lesbianism, re-imagined for Brazil today. When a dyke elder on a motorcycle meets a gang of young lovelies eager to bring her body back to life, a true movie celebration ensues. Only in Brazil!

Sarmet’s idyll merges the lessons of early US lesbian-feminism with the fabled golden age of Brazilian lesbian culture, creating a movie that rewards desire and believes in happy endings. Taking a cue from Audre Lorde while updating the fantasy for the genderqueer youngsters of today’s Brazil, Sarmet manage to create an olive branch to the past that is also a musical route forward to the future.
